Accessibility is something that has been baked into DW from the very start, and as a result a lot of DW people are more likely to think about it first then people on other sites (And DW people are more likely to *need* it, since DW hasn't actively driven them off). But yes, thinking about what you want in terms of how media can be posted in particular is a good idea! In my other comm (Which probably needs a guidelines revamp anyway) I just did "Keep accessibility in mind for people who might have trouble accessing visual, audio, or high-bandwidth content; when possible, include alt tags, transcripts, or text descriptions or summaries." but some comms go into more detail.
