For anyone creating school stories and university AUs set in Japan, I've compiled some information on phases of the academic year for Japanese high schools and universities. I've added the corresponding season and what the weather would be like for brainstorming clothes/activities/etc.

as the title says, i successfully deployed ao3 in production through docker and wrote a whole guide on how to do it. i know it mostly works because i did it once, wrote as i went, then did it all over again following my own instructions and then tweaked the guide as needed. if that's all nonsense to you then uh it's just nerd tech stuff. this is useful if you want to host your own site on the ao3/otw-archive code

the guide is on my own site hosted on the ao3 code called superlove, it's invite only and for people i know for now but if we've talked before and you want in just ask me. find the guide here! if you need help just comment here or there or private message me and we'll work something out

if this is not appropriate for this comm feel free to delete it or something i just wanted to share it to be helpful since i personally know how hellish it is to deploy otw-archive

I'm looking for a community dedicated to meta* that I can post the occasional linkspam to, where I wouldn't be posting against the current rules. I did some poking around, which I documented in a post on my blog. [community profile] fandom_meta looked promising, until I read the posting rules, and realised it is for posting links to one's personal meta posts. [community profile] meta_warehouse might be suitable, but again, the focus is meta, not links.

Does anyone know of anything suitable? It doesn't have to be active -- I'm happy to just start posting into the void, and see what happens. At the very least, I'll have a record of the interesting things I found to go back and look at :)

* for those who haven't previously encountered the term, 'meta' here is used to refer to non-fiction fannish writing. There might be more specific definitions, but I like the broad brush inclusive option.
