fictional_fansOkay, if you were loading your phone up with offline copies of longfic (20,000-300,000 words) from A03 to keep as your stash of emergency re-reads, what would you pick? Any fandom, pairing, age, no shame or standards except 'it's a good thing to have on hand when you really need a longfic'.
I am trying to come up with a list, but it's all coming stuff I've re-read too often lately, so I need some new blood or old blood I've forgotten.
(I have Murderbot, Barrayar, T. Kingfisher and Young Wizards as my emergency profic longreads on there, but I want some fanfic to pad it out.)

Also what was that incredibly wonderful long gen one, post canon, with Snape and Luna? I'll dig up the title.
Also one of my all time favorite Barrayar fic is Aral Vorkosigan's Dog by Philomytha... it's gen, a retelling of Shards of Honor from Illyan's POV. Just stellar. It's canon as far as I'm concerned.
